The power of now is in letting go. Everything you thought you knew, everything you hope to know, everything that is not now.
In the simplest terms it is submission and trust. It is not fighting against anything but allowing it.
This does not lead to passivity but rather to clear awareness. And a clarity that - whereas before you may have been holding onto past or worried about/planning for the future - the only time that exists is now and you can see all of that easily in one glance. No more balancing the past, present and the future
ALL you are responsible for is asking for guidance in this moment and acting or being still in accordance. And doing the same thing in each moment that comes.
This explanation makes it sound so simple and yet it is not. It does take conscious energy to do so and trust that when you do you will be rewarded with confirmations because now your life can be guided so clearly.
Before you live in the moment your life is a line with points of guidance at intervals at points that were daily, weekly or whenever you felt in enough travail to ask for help. This meant that your line (and life) was jagged, as each infrequent check-in was a course correction. When you begin to live in the moment your life becomes a smooth line as there are miniscule course corrections that are invisible to the eye – THIS is why it called flow when you submit and trust!
THIS is the secret. Let this be your goal as the flow brings joy and gratitude.
